Intimate Distance, Uncaptured City · throughout October

Edson Chagas brings together two decades of work on urban memory and the physical and emotional experience of cities. Pavilhão Branco, Tuesday to Sunday, 10:00–13:00 and 14:00–18:00; free entry; the exhibition continues until 29 November.

MAC/CCB third anniversary · 23–25 October

Three free-entry days in Belém connect exhibitions, conversations, performance, music and architecture. Friday opens with Ângela Ferreira and Nuria Enguita, followed by Here I Stand and a DJ set; Saturday includes conversations, a guided encounter, Nkisi with Gonçalo F. Cardoso / Gonzo and a performance; Sunday closes with a visit, publications and António Guerreiro.
